December 12, 2003 - Letter to EOTC: NVCC responded to the Executive Office of Transportation and Construction's Fiscal Year 2005 Budget Recommendation Process. The primary focus of the NVCC response was improved "internal" and "external" customer service. NVCC suggested opportunities to serve as an informational exchange process for a more collaborative and unified approach to transportation, for example, as it crosses municipal/regional boundaries. It was also recommended that the EOTC play a more active role in how transportation funds are dispersed to the respective transportation departments/authorities. The EOTC should serve more as a "3rd Party Broker" with clear and distinct criteria by which the departments and authorities petition for their share of funding.
